No one can rule time and you’ll never be able to predict when something will happen. Last week I was working with my new editor, Sander Blom, on my novel ‘De stille stad’ (The Silent City), and soon now it will be ready; though it won’t be published till after next summer. This all has to do with my change of publishing house and the planning of the film.
But to lift a corner of the veil, this is going to be the cover. It is strange that something I’ve written last summer will be in the bookstores a year after that.
Last week we had a very interesting meeting, my two main producers, Anton Scholten (left), Joel Phiri (right) and me. There are less and less obstacles on our path. So I hope soon to be able to announce that The Bird will finally fly.
