I was quietly working, preparing a new project and checking the grading of the film when suddenly my producer phoned and asked if I could fly to South Africa. I asked him when. He said tomorrow.
After a hectic afternoon, changing all my appointments for the coming week I’m off to Cape Town for a week to do the ADR (additional dialogue replacement), a looping session in which some of the originally recorded dialogue is repeated over by the actors.
