I’m in Portugal at the Festroia International Film Festival. At the same time Wouter Jansen, the editor of my film, is in Germany at the Emden International Film Festival. On both festivals we are in competition. As on all festivals here too in Setúbal I’m meeting nice directors from all over the world.
What makes this festival so special is that it is held next to the ocean. So in the morning, before the screenings start, producers, jury members, journalists, directors and other probably important people saunter to the beach, take a dip in the cold water, to be fresh and ready for a very warm day full of wonderful films.
My website has gone through a mayor conversion. Although on first sight nothing seems different – it is an entire new site. The only thing I kept is the lay-out.
