Writing a fat novel is one of the most exciting things to do. Every morning I jump out of my bed with a pile of little notes, because my brains produce the most ideas between 5 and 6 in the morning. I became an expert in writing in the dark.
The rest of the day I’m behind my laptop to develop those thoughts into the story, with an hour break, when I’m in the garden to saw down a tree or dig a hole. It’s nice to do heavy physical things in between all the sitting. I think I’m half way my new novel now. But of course I don’t know for sure yet.
