I forgot what it was to be a film director. It means endlessly answering questions and just try to communicate my vision. My ideas about the locations, about costumes, about atmospheres and the style. I also experience what it is to make a real low budget film, but I’ve decided to ignore that fact. I’m just making the most beautiful film I can.
Tomorrow evening (13 July) I give the first lecture about the making off my film in Theater de Kiekendief on Texel.
Coming Sunday (17 July) is the launch of Motorrrraria on the ‘Zwarte Cross’. At 14.00 we will read some fragments from this fantastic motor ‘scrapbook’, check the program and come!
