I took a few weeks off, to reset my mind, to get some rest, to fight the weed in the garden and sow seeds. Since a few days I’m back at my writing table to work on my novel ‘Het laatste land’ (The Last Land) which will be published in October.
It’s a year ago since I worked on this manuscript and I really do need some days to get into the custom of daily writing again. Last week I started with working up the notes I got and yesterday I began the real work: polishing the story.
I do need again to put myself into the characters, which are so different from those in my film. I feel, I’m still in a transition.
